Project-based learning for the development of social transformative competence in socially engaged translators

چکیده
The analysis of particular experiences in the light academic thought is bound to help us understand impact educational approaches on real people living contexts, while shedding at a macro-level translator education large. This article addresses one case project-based learning AVT for Access, MA Audiovisual Translation programme offered Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU), show how academically motivated Participatory Action Research projects may lead development ‘social transformative competence’ translation students. competence ability identify areas action and operate social change process developing providing mediation services. Socially invested professionals will be who proactively interact with society towards change, search creative solutions existing problems. In so doing, not only they positioning themselves as service providers, but also promoting justice empowering communities engage with. Furthermore, could shaping environments emerging modes, outlining new professional profiles creating practice.

این پژوهش با هدف "بررسی وضعیت موجود آموزش عالی مجازی در ایران و راههای توسعه و ارتقای آن " و با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و پیمایشی صورت پذیرفته است. بررسی اسنادو مدارک موجود در زمینه آموزش مجازی نشان داد تعداد دانشجویان و مقاطع تحصیلی و رشته محل های دوره های الکترونیکی چندان مطلوب نبوده و از نظر کیفی نیز وضعیت شاخص خدمات آموزشی اساتید و وضعیت شبکه اینترنت در محیط آموزش مجازی نامطلوب است.
